Convenience Foods vs Eating Out On a Budget

I am sure that everyone has had these experiences. You work a bit late at work and head home just dragging from tiredness. Walking through the door instead of just being able to put your feet up, there are three hungry children; one needs help with homework and the other two need to be driven to activities (to be picked up later of course).

At these times, don’t be worried about using convenience foods such as frozen prepared meals. We don’t mean the take out types and are as expensive as restaurant fare. These convenience foods might be a bit more expensive, but are certainly better than eating out or take out.

Try to keep your freezer stocked with some of these handy food items. While they are heating in the oven, you can help with homework, have a nice cup of tea or get busy with other things.
